ABOUT ME

For as long as I can remember I’ve been active.  From running around the farm growing up, to playing sports throughout high school, running 5ks and half marathons after college, and then finding CrossFit.  Working as a CrossFit trainer, I coached many mom’s and pregnant women, but it wasn’t until I became pregnant myself that I truly questioned how to approach fitness during that chapter of life as an athlete, or as a coach.

I turned to everyone’s favorite source of knowledge. The Google Machine.  At that point, I became overwhelmed.  Bloggers, influencers, fitspos, moms, trainers, they all had different messages.  They all had conflicting messages.  I navigated working out through pregnancy safely, because I was fortunate enough to find information on scaling and modifying from a knowledgeable source.

After Isla was born, I knew slow and steady was the way to go.  Let my body heal.  Focus on becoming a Mom.  Don’t get me wrong, once I went back into the gym my competitiveness kicked in and I had to talk myself down. Every. Single. Day.

It had taken me so long to find a resource I trusted to guide me through remaining active during pregnancy, and then recovering once I was postpartum.  I decided I wanted to help other moms, and be that resource.

I am a CFL1 trainer, as well as Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism coach.  When I’m not being mom or Coach Amy, I can be found playing fetch with my black lab Lola, dabbling in photography, or doing any outdoor activities involving a mountain or the ocean.  I also enjoy reading, but these days my book list typically consists of “Moo Baa LaLaLa” and the literary works of Dr. Seuss.

WHAT DO I DO?

How do you use your fitness?

Whether your job depends on you being fit, or you are a runner, CrossFitter, soccer player, a mom chasing some toddlers, or whatever else, I want to help you remain active.  I want to teach and help you to make decisions about what activities to forge ahead on, and which to maybe take a temporary break from.  My goal is to help you continue using your fitness in your day to day life and meet the daily demands of motherhood, whether you are newly pregnant or years postpartum.

What are your goals during pregnancy? Postpartum? How does that fit into the rest of your life?  Do you work out in a gym or at home?  I take all of this into account when working with you so that programming is individualized to your goals, but also your pregnancy, postpartum, and lifestyle.

$50/month (discounts available for multi month commitment)

Goal based remote coaching taking individual pregnancy and postpartum considerations into account. 


We work together to make modifications and substitutions to the existing programming you follow.  Modifications are designed to be progressive and oriented towards both your pregnancy goals, as well as postpartum fitness goals.  One of my goals is to keep you in the gym (barring any medical advice otherwise) and in your community, while also keeping your workouts varied in a way to keep them interesting.

HYBRID COACHING + DAILY MODIFICATIONS

$65/month

Goal based remote coaching taking individual pregnancy or postpartum considerations into account. 


The "Just tell me what to do" approach.  Using your existing programming, and through communication with you about your readiness I give you daily modifications for your workouts.  Modifications are designed to be progressive and oriented towards both your pregnancy goals, as well as postpartum fitness goals.  This keeps you in your community, but tailors your workouts for what you need.

REMOTE COACHING

Starting at $85/month - Pricing based on individual needs

A customized program provided weekly, including a monthly phone or video call, and weekly texting or email communications.  This allows for us to be in contact as needed, re-assess and adjust based on what is needed to help you meet your goals.

Programming is designed with Pregnancy & Postpartum considerations individual to you, as well as time and equipment availability.

30 Min Consult - $40

Do you already have a program you follow, or a gym you love going to?  Is group fitness your thing?  Maybe you’re a runner.  Whatever it is, do you just need a little help knowing when it’s ok to push harder and when you should back off a bit and maybe modify some movements?  Let’s start with an initial 30 minute consult to assess your lifestyle, fitness, goals, and any considerations that should be made.
